Horseback Riding Tour

Hop on up amigos! Saddle up on our gentle and beautiful horseback riding tour in Jaco! Our loved and well cared for Costa Rican stepping horses have been trained to carry our visitors gently through the river valley, along the foothills of the forested mountains.

Upon reaching the hillside, you will take one of many stops for a moment to enjoy the breathtaking views of this spectacular private reserve. This tour includes a visit to El Encanto waterfall where everyone in the group will have a chance to get wet and take pictures at this incredible spot in the park.

This is one of the best and most enjoyable ways to experience the majestic nature of the Costa Rican rainforest.

What to bring

Comfortable Clothing: Wear lightweight, breathable clothes suitable for the activities you’ll be engaging in. Consider quick-drying materials if water activities are involved. Dress in layers to adapt to changing weather conditions.
Appropriate Footwear: Wear sturdy and comfortable closed-toe shoes or hiking boots that provide good traction and support. If water activities are included, pack water shoes or sandals.
Hat and Sunglasses: Protect yourself from the sun by wearing a hat with a wide brim to shield your face and neck. Sunglasses with UV protection are also essential.
Sunscreen: Apply and bring sunscreen with a high SPF to protect your skin from harmful UV rays. Reapply as needed throughout the day.
Insect Repellent: If you’ll be in areas with mosquitoes or other insects, bring an insect repellent containing DEET or another effective ingredient to prevent bites.
Water Bottle: Stay hydrated by carrying a refillable water bottle. It’s crucial to drink plenty of water, especially during outdoor activities.
